Over Engineered is a home for my projects, ideas, and experiments that absolutely did not need this much thought… and yet here we are.
This publication lives at the round-a-bout intersection of curiosity, tinkering, automation, and the irresistible urge to ask “but what if I made it smarter?” Expect deep dives into systems, workflows, home automation, telephony oddities, dashboards that exist mostly to prove a point, and the occasional rabbit hole that started as a “quick fix.”
If something can be measured, logged, scripted, automated, or mildly improved with questionable returns on investment, it probably belongs here.
